Where To Buy Materials For This DIY
Now, let’s realize our DIY, shall we?
Step 1: Pick The Right Vases
I chose a larger vase, which is 4 inches x 8 inches (10 cm x 20 cm). And I got a smaller vase, which is 3 inches x 8 inches (8 cm x 20 cm) but it was too tall.
So pick a smaller vase that is 3 inches x 6 inches (8 cm x 15 cm) so your smaller vase isn’t taller than the larger one.
Step 2: Create Your Centerpiece
I used 4 lemons to decorate this vase. Start by cutting lemon slices. Don’t cut them too thin, or it won’t hold properly in your vase.
Once you have your lemon slices, place them at the bottom of your larger vase. Then, add your smaller vase inside your larger vase.
Now, place all your lemon slices in the space between your larger and smaller vase. Since your slices are thick enough, they will fall nicely one on top of the others.
Once you added all your lemon slices, place your hydrangeas in the smaller vase.
Fresh hydrangeas are the best for a radiant and bright look. But you could also put fake hydrangeas or even dried hydrangeas.
I personally chose dried hydrangeas because it was a gift, so they are dear to me.
Now, let’s discover the final result!
