How To Make An Easter egg garland decoration

- and string.
Where To Buy Materials For This DIY
Now, let’s realize our DIY, shall we?
Step 1: Pick The Right Colors And Materials
I went for pastel Easter eggs. And I selected a different color for each Easter egg because I created plain minimalist eggs.
Don’t hesitate to be more creative with your Easter eggs and to add patterns to them!
I also picked wooden beads because I wanted a neutral touch to my colorful Easter eggs. Wooden beads are amazing to give an authentic and traditional feel to your Easter decor.
You could also choose glass or acrylic beads with different shapes. Floral and fruit beads would look amazing on your garland!
Step 2: Create Your Felt Easter Eggs
Creating felt Easter eggs is such a fun and relaxing activity! To do that, you will need felt sheets, fiber fill, a hot glue gun, and a pair of scissors.
Start by cutting an egg shape on a paper sheet. Then, place your paper egg shape on your felt sheet and cut the shape again.
I place my paper egg with double-sided tape on the felt sheet so it doesn’t move while I cut it! Do it another time. You now have two felt Easter egg shapes.
Add some hot glue to the first egg shape so you can stick the second egg shape on it. Make sure you leave a hole so you can stuff your Easter egg with the fiber fill.
Once it’s done, glue the hole. You now have your felt Easter egg!
Step 3: Add Everything Together
Take your string and tie a knot. I selected a wire string and I added a white thread to each felt Easter egg so I could easily tie them to the string.
Then, thread ten wooden beads, an Easter egg, ten wooden beads, an Easter egg, and so on.
At the end of your garland, tie another knot to secure it.
Now, let’s discover the final result!
