How To Make Spring Shelf Decorations
Materials List

For this DIY, you will need:
- Spring flowers: I went for daffodils, which are emblematic flowers of spring. But any fresh flowers will do the trick. You could, of course, use fake flowers as well. But I think that using fresh flowers is better, especially for spring and summer DIY;
- a bird nest;
- a bunny figurine;
- a box: I chose a white distressed box for a feminine and soft look.
- lace: I went for white lace, but you can be more creative and select colorful lace!
- a ribbon bow: I selected a yellow ribbon bow but any spring colored ribbon bow will look amazing.
- an Easter gnome;
- a LED Easter egg.
Where To Buy Materials For This DIY
Now, let’s realize our DIY, shall we?
Step 1: Pick The Right Box
A white distressed box is amazing for farmhouse, coquette, and shabby chic design styles. For a coastal, minimalist, cottagecore, and rustic home, I suggest selecting a brown wooden box.
A gold and intricate box would look magnificent in a french country or glam house. While for a modern home, a metal or geometric box would be amazing.
These are just examples to give you inspiration. Many boxes could fit your interior design style, so feel free to be creative!
Step 2: Fill Your Box
I placed a bird nest, a bunny figurine, and a daffodil in my box. If your box is bigger or smaller, place more or less accessories.
I could have added some moss, more spring flowers or Easter eggs in my box for a more maximalist and earthy look. Don’t hesitate to try different things and to see which one looks best.
Step 3: Accessorize Your Box
I added white lace all around my box for a feminine and romantic touch. Lace will absolutely fit in your decorations for shabby chic, coquette, and french country design styles.
I placed a yellow ribbon bow as well for an optimistic feel. I wanted a reminder of my daffodil.
Lastly, I put a LED Easter gnome and giant Easter egg next to my box. Adding lights will make your Easter decor feel more enchanted.
And I like the fact that my giant Easter egg adds a modern touch to a more traditional spring decor.
Now, let’s discover the final result!
